"The Tree of Life" series reflects the creative, evocative power of this image in human history and culture. It constantly brings together the elements of my other themes: Trees, Light, Gardens, Seasons.

In some cases, the Tree of Life painting has its roots (so to speak) in a living tree: a cypress, baobab, or olive. In other cases, these are inspirations for a largely imaginative tree. All are frankly mystical, evoking the power and mystery of this ancient symbol.
